That’s why we’ve created a warm, inclusive day respite service for children, teens, and adults—where individuals can thrive, build confidence, and enjoy tailored support, while families and carers get the well-deserved break they need.

We’re open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm and welcome both NDIS participants and private clients of all abilities.
What is NDIS Respite Care (STA)?
Short-Term Accommodation (STA) aka Respite Care is an NDIS-funded support that gives participants a chance to stay in a safe, comfortable environment away from home for a short period of time. This service benefits both the individual and their family with a much-needed break.
At David’s House, we offer a warm, home-like setting where people feel safe, valued, and supported while enjoying fun, engaging activities tailored to their needs.
Our goal is to create a nurturing space where participants can thrive, make new friends, and explore new experiences, while carers enjoy peace of mind and time to refresh.
Who is Eligible for STA Respite?
David’s House is perfect for:
