Our Story and Why We Exist
David’s House was created from a deeply personal place—born of love, resilience, and the belief that no family should have to walk the disability journey alone.
My son, David, has bravely faced the challenges of epilepsy and disability with strength and courage. Through him, I’ve experienced the reality many families face: the sleepless nights, the relentless advocacy, the emotional and physical toll of navigating support systems like the NDIS—and the constant hope for something better.
🌟 A Place That Feels Like Home
I didn’t just want to create a service—I wanted to create a space where families feel safe, supported, and understood. A space that adapts to your life, not the other way around. A place that feels like home.
Today, David’s House offers inclusive day respite care, 7 days a week, 7am–7pm, supporting children, teens, and adults with disabilities. We welcome both NDIS participants and private clients, and tailor each day to suit the needs, interests, and abilities of every person who walks through our doors.
